Client Disputes

Last updated: 16 July 2026

If a trade you've worked with is a Client Score member, they may have recorded a rating covering payment timeliness, communication, site readiness, scope changes, and whether they'd work with you again. This isn't public — only verified trade members can see it. This page explains how to claim your profile so you can keep an eye on it going forward, or simply request a copy of your information or dispute a rating — whichever you'd prefer.

Do I have an account?

Not automatically. Customers don't get a Client Score account just by being rated — only trades sign up directly. But if a trade has recorded a rating about you, you can claim your profile by verifying the email address or mobile number the rating is recorded against. Once verified, you're a Verified Client: you can manage your profile and see feedback and trade score submissions as they come in, rather than requesting a one-off copy each time.

Claiming your profile is entirely optional. If you'd rather not, you can still request a copy of your information or dispute a rating below without creating anything.

Claim your profile

If you'd like to keep track of your Client Score profile as ratings come in, you can claim it by verifying the email address or mobile number a trade used to rate you.

To claim your profile: verify your email or mobile number to confirm it's yours, then set up access to your Verified Client profile. [claim your profile — link/form TBD]

Once verified, you'll be able to manage your profile and view feedback and trade score submissions as they're added — no need to request a copy each time.

Request a copy of your information

Prefer not to claim a profile? You can still request a one-off copy of the rating(s) recorded about you — what was recorded, when, and by which trade — the same way as before.

To request a copy: email us at contact@clientscore.com.au with your name and the mobile number or email address you believe a trade used when rating you. We'll verify your identity before releasing any information.

Dispute a rating

If you believe a rating recorded about you is inaccurate, unfair, or wasn't accompanied by the notice a trade is required to give you before rating you, you can dispute it.

To lodge a dispute: email us at contact@clientscore.com.au with the trade's name (or business name), the approximate date of the job, and why you believe the rating is inaccurate or unfair. Include any evidence that supports your case if you have it.

We'll investigate every dispute, which may include contacting the trade who submitted the rating for their side. While a dispute is open, we'll note it against the rating.

What happens next

We aim to respond to every request or dispute within one week of receiving it. If a dispute needs more time to investigate properly (for example, if we're waiting on information from the trade involved), we'll let you know and keep you updated.

Not satisfied with our response?

If you believe we've mishandled your personal information or haven't resolved your dispute fairly, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au. See our Privacy Policy for more on how we handle personal information.
